Specialist Equipment Hire

Lift & Shift specialises in providing materials handling equipment for the construction industry, removal companies and general industrial applications. Platform and scissor lifts for personnel powered access are also handled by this team.

Safe & Sure with a policy of no compromise where safety is concerned, is dedicated to safety and surveying equipment hire. Established to manage and deliver specialist instrumentation and safety equipment for work in confined or hazardous zones, experts are on call with product advice and to offer handover training.

Hire-Weld focuses upon the specialist hire needs of the professional welder. It is an area in which a high level of product knowledge and perfectly maintained equipment are demanded by the customer and, by creating a specialist team, HSS Hire is able to set the highest standards in the industry.

Central Tool & Plant Finder

HSS One Call has forged links with some of the leading names in specialist plant and equipment hire to enable customers to access more items quickly and simply, through one HSS account. The most frequently hired items from HSS One Call are: site accommodation, excavators and skidsteer loaders but the division aims to source almost anything.

The One Call service now extends to the sourcing of hire equipment Internationally.

Sales and Service

HSS Sales can quote for and supply brand new tools and equipment as carried in the HSS Hire fleet. Enquiries can be made through any branch or the central sales office.

HSS Training was developed initially for in-house training, setting the industry standard by creating a knowledgeable and skilled workforce, providing excellent customer service. HSS now have a portfolio of over 100 courses available - ranging from Lift Truck Operator to First Aid. Courses are overseen by highly experienced trainers to ensure that attendees surpass the relevant industry standards.
